Hey everyone. Just got myself a new macbook pro retina 13" (A1502).
I have a problem with my wireless network (only at home). when I'm connected to my router, and i don't use the internet for let's say 10-20 secs, the connection stop working. in the wireless icon on the top-right corner of the screen it shows it still connected, but the internet is just not working until i turn it off and on again. as long as there's bandwidth, it dosent shut.. I can download something for 10 hours and everything keeps working..
-That problem is only at my house, at my work the internet works good.
-BUT, other computers seem to work just fine with my home router..

any ideas?

What router model are you using at home?

I know some dlink routers have such issue with mac.

connection times out after no activity.

And just to confirm, are you on Yosemite 10.10.1? Last night I update my OS, and I swear after doing so, my wifi was doing the exact same thing...

Prior to the update (albeit, I only bought my MacBook on Saturday), it wasn't doing that.

Same Page with you

My version is also 10.10.1
and according to my memory it was ok before.... 95% sure..

I'm using d-link 2760u router. any suggestion? what should i do?
