My macbook pro will loose internet signal for like a minute and then it comes back
The wireless stays on all the time but i cant open the pages but after like a minute it works again
It happens every other few hours which is annoying.
All the other notebooks have no problems
Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same issue with my new MBP (previous generation)...it is becoming quite annoying.

I have not installed real player.

1. Restart your router

2. Turn off and on your Airport card in your MBP for few times.

Same problem - dropping connection, then re-established

I have the same problem. I have had my MBP since Jan 2008 and the problem became very noticeable in summer. I have read in other sources that it might be related to firmware updates.

I don't have real audio installed. I have contemplated other programs loaded:
adium, pandorajam, simplify media, Windows media player and others. All of these use the wireless network card but when I remove them, there is no noticeable difference (because the damage is done or they aren't the cause).

Turning the wireless card on and off doesn't work. The connection is on, it just comes and goes. I have a network utility on the computer that displays the throughput and it resembles peaks and valleys.
