Wireless Question

Hey guys this is my first post ath this forum.
I'm about to buy a new ibook G4 for use in college and home.
I noted that it has airport extreme built in, i wanted to know if AP extreme is compatible with 802.11b, since my networkl at home is 802.11b. Is AP extreme compatible for both b/g?. If not, what do you recomend me to upgrade my home network.

I'm using airport extreme and 802.11b right now.

works without a hitch, nothing to configure, it automatically detects the network and you can jump right on, so no worries
