Our condo complex offers "wireless" for all of the Units, but I only get reception in a bedroom at the far side of my condo, and a very poor one at that. I have a G4 tower in that room with built in Airport.

Is there anyway I can use the G4 to like capture and redistribute the wireless or something so that I can get it in the rest of my house on my PowerBook without buying anything else, just using what I have right now?

If you had 2 active wireless cards you might have success using internet connection sharing to share from one card to the other, with the second setup as a new wireless network. A single card can only be attached to an existing network or create a new network, not both.

Depending on the network you might be able to use an Airport Express (or similar non-Apple product) with WDS to extend the range...
