I just purchased a new 24 inch Imac (love it).

Which wireless router should I buy for it?

Airport Extreme or Linksys??

Please advise.

I want QUALITY.... Price is not an issue.

either. just stay away from airport express. its flakiness redefines the word.

People will always give you conflicting advice I'm afraid, no one ever has the same identical experience with a product. I personally think the the AEBS is cracking. I'd say go with the Airport Extreme! My wireless connection is perfect and I love the use of the USB port for accessing an external HD or printing from the three computers in my house.

Plus the AEBS just looks cooler. No funny aerials and bits sticking out! :)

Well, at least my Airport Expresses have been rock solid, both in my apartment and in other places. YMMV. The downside with Express is that it is wireless only (and no 11n).

D-Link on the other hand - nothing but trouble.

I had a linksys and could never get the darn thing to work. That was a first though, as I've set my folks' house up with a linksys wireless network. Currently at my house I've got a netgear and it's awesome - after my linksys fiasco it was a breeze.

allison.

I will beg u not to get the Linksys. It sucks cow's ass! Seriously.. you will get disconnected every 10minutes then reset the router then disconnected again. It's a ******** company!

I have Netgear, but I am planning to get DLink.

DLink is the solution. There are good DLink routers with 3 antennas.
