Wireless Streaming to Sony KDLW4000

Just wondering if it is at all possible to stream videos and other stuff from my MacBook Pro to my Sony TV?
I am already using a cable set up to enable the screen of my MacBook Pro to appear through the TV.
I have a Siemens SE587 wireless router which I use for my internet connection. Is it possible to use this as part of the solution?
Anyway, I would be grateful for any info.😀
