Wireless sync for Addressbook and iCal?

Does anybody know if the iTunes wireless sync through iTunes between my iPhone and computer keep the contacts and calendars in sync?

I'm running Snow Leopard with no intention of moving over to Lion and I would like to be able to keep iCal and Addressbook in sync. I can move over to Google, but I'd rather not if I can avoid it.
