I purchased an app and music for my iPhone through my Macbook Pro. Then noticed that I didn't have to sync the iPhone to get what I purchased in it, as it was already on my iPhone. Not sure if this a form of wireless sync or not, but I never noticed it doing this before.

Okay wait a minute. This actually the automatic download feature. Very nice!

it's part of the iCloud beta called iTunes in the Cloud, if you have automatic download turned on on your devices then that happens. it's kinda handy.
