ok I was wondering could someone set up a dial up wireless signal because I only have dial up at home and no usb modem for my macbook but do have a spare linky (I think or w/e) wireless router. Could I use it with my macbook and dial up and just have it be really slow?

or is this not even a possibity(sry I'm such a n00b)

The best way to do this is buy an airport extreme base station with the modem port. Then you would have to keep one computer on dial up and you can use the wireless to you macbook. Or have a router with a modem port

according to Apple's website: the

...AirPort Extreme Base Station model includes a 56K V.90 modem for dialup connections...

i haven't used an Airport Extreme to broadcast a dial-up signal, but i suppose that - because Apple includes this feature - it's possible.
