Wish i had a different Apple Watch

I preordered a 38mm white sport and got it delivered! It was the only watch I could get delivered in the first wave by the time I got on to Apple's website. Anyone else wish they had a different watch that the one they got today? I would like perhaps a 42mm. I can't decide whether I should either return or perhaps sell the watch to someone else, or try it on and see how I like the watch enough to keep it.

I say return it. I'd rather wait a bit longer and have the watch I want than go with what's available and "put up with it".

I did that with my 6+ and I'm really really glad I waited.

You have 14 days to return. Not a big deal.

Just buy other bands if you don't like the white.

I have the 42mm. I wouldn't go any smaller.

Everyone I've shown it to has thought it was the 38mm.

I am going to have to spend more time with my 38mm. But it is small I will probably keep it. But next go around just get the biggest one the offer. Its really hard to know before hand what the sizes will really look and feel like.

I'd return it. 42mm was the minimum for me, and i would of never ordered any different just for the sake of having the watch. I'd return it and reorder.

38 is just too small for my fingers honestly, 42mm is the way to go !!!!

This is why they had two weeks of try ons. I know not everyone lives close to an Apple Store (my closest is 45 minutes away), but most do.

Also, ordering whatever model will get to you fastest - unless you're a professional tech journalist or developer - really doesn't make much sense to me. I'd much rather be happy with what I plan on wearing all day every day.

I'm in the 38mm SG camp. I heard it comes with a free kitten, and that is the real holdup.

Yeah I looked at both in the Apple retail store and it was a no brainer. The 38mm was far too small. There was no way I could work the screen and I am slim to average build

I preordered the Black Sport right at midnight with the crowd and got a May 13-May 27 ship date.

Today seeing people post pics of their SS Watches makes me wish I ordered one of those. So I just ordered a SS watch which has a June ship date.

Hoping that my Black Sport now hits the latest possible date and my SS gets bumped up (since I THINK some of the SS have been getting bumped sooner), so then when the Sport arrives I can just return it.

Yeah the problem comes into the play when the try on's are after the pre order date. Honestly the more I have worn it I am very happy with the size. I think either size I would be happy with. But I wanted it day one like many others so I just ordered one. Its a gamble but I am happy and it worked out. But next time I might go bigger guess it will depend.
