I know black on aluminum is really fragile, but Space Gray is too close to silver. Not a great compromise. Whatever. It's just stuff.

ive been saying this since the 5s. glad to someone notices the difference and cares enough to post here about it
 
I used to think that about the iPhone and then decided it doesn't matter since I use a black case.

Only because Apple made it that way. The 5S was a much darker shade than the 6. I really don't know why they don't just go silver with a black faceplate. In most situations it's easy to mistake iPhone SG with silver.

That being said, the new MacBook looks darker, but so did the iPhone 6 in Apple's glossy web shot. :rolleyes:

Agreed. The silver iPhone should come with a black face option. Maybe down the line they'll find the right formula for a scratch resistant black aluminum finish.
