I don't understand how people are saying 4.7" is too big. I've got 4.8" and my wife never says I'm too big. Or even big.

It isn't big. But the iPhone 4.7" is huge with the huge bezels compared to other 4.7" phones.

A 4.7" iPhone is as big as a 5.2" LG G2.

Worse means worse. You said bad.

I highlighted that "Worse doesn't mean bad.". Are you confused by that?

Of course I meant processor, it was a typo. If you're confused, you're a dolt. If you don't know what the word dolt means, it means stupid.

Instead of reporting your post, I will leave this as evidence of your level.
Which, admittedly, does make me wonder why I'm even remotely thinking of confronting such a person's text.

Additionally, I do notice a difference in speed on the iPhone 6 compared to the iPhone 5s.

Surely, that is both precise and useful to anyone who is thinking of buying an iPhone 5s. Thank you for your precious contribution to everyone's understanding on what bboucher790 notices about the speed on his phone.

Under the specs listed on Apple's site.

Hopefully, you do realize that you are not making any point whatsoever by yourself.

My point is that the phone feels more rough in the hand, that one is subjective...moving along.

Yes, that is entirely subjective.

Without I case?
If you meant "without a case",

Yes, I meant "Without a case". Hopefully this helps you. ;)

another subjective argument.

This is hilarious. For me at least.
Isn't it obvious that " I could not tolerate how thin these phones are. I would prefer thicker phones." is subjective, and that that is exactly the point that destroys what you attempted to state?
Feel free to read my post all the times you feel you need in order to understand it, please.

At least with the thinner phone it's possible to make it thicker by using a case.

What's the point of having it thin in the first place, if one doesn't like to handle the thinness of it?

ApplePay is a big deal, but clearly not everyone uses credit cards on a daily basis.

That's true. Also, not everyone in the world lives in the U.S.

What were your points "against" buying a 5s, again?

I'm also disappointed that the new iPhone will not be offered in the small version as well... I don't have super small hands by any stretch of the imagination, but I just think it's the perfect size -- for me, anyway…

To those saying to "Buy a 5s":

- Worse camera for both video and picture taking
- Worse processer
- Worse battery life
- Sharp edged design
- Thicker
- No NFC (Yes, ApplePay is a big deal)

Those are sacrifices people will make when purchasing last year's 4" model. I'm banking Apple will create an iPhone Air in a few years. This will allow them to keep the 4" design, and give people a reason to be excited for a smaller phone.

Apple changed their strategy with the iPad Mini's processor bump, you shouldn't have to settle for last year's specs because you want a smaller screen.

-Camera is still decent
-Benchmarks showing slight improvement likely negligible in real life use.
-I've seen similar battery life in my 6 as my 5c from real world usage today
-5S is beautiful not sure why design is a con?
-Thicker? 5S is pretty damn light and again has a great design
-NFC may be a bigger deal in a couple years...currently? meh.

4.7" is actually an extremely usable and common screen, you won't find a phone that out performs the 5S in a 4" form factor.

tl;dr
5S is still a great phone if you want 4"

I too would prefer a smaller phone, simply to fit in my pocket easier. Even the 5s is just a little bit too long for my tastes. Ever since they switched to 16:9 screens the iPhone just looks "wrong" to me. They have too much wasted space at the top and bottom. This probably won't change unless Apple ever decides to re-think the concept of the Home button.

My ideal phone would be the size and aspect ratio of the 4s, but thin like the 6, and with all the processor/camera upgrades. I do think there is a market for an iPhone 6 "nano" and it wouldn't surprise me if phones start trending towards being smaller in a few years.

I'm happy they came out with 2 versions but 3 versions, as nice as it would be, would be a little much.

Right now it is :
2 version (6, 6+)
3 colors (grey, silver, gold)
4? carriers (tmobile, sprint, at&t, verizon)

so adding another size of the phone would mean they would have to make 12 new versions of the phone. that is a bit much.

I upgrade from a 5S to the 6 yesterday, and the first thing I noticed was it's not as comfortable to sit down with it in my pocket and it's impossible to reach the upper screen corners one-handed using a thumb without doing some weird trick. But, I guess this is what everyone wants now.

Personally, I think lesser phone makers made bigger phones to fit bigger batteries because their battery life sucked and that's how all this crap got started.

But, I guess there's always the Apple Watch. Thanks, morons.

I'm not going to continue with a quote troll. Most of your points are flawed, thus showing your level.

You mocked my typo, I mocked yours. If you're going to have the audacity to mock someone's typographical error, don't make a similar mistake and cry about it later.

Moving along.

Don't despair, you will learn how to quote posts one day. Possibly.

Most of your points are flawed,

No flaws. Not even one.
And as a matter of fact, you haven't been able to reply to anything.

thus showing your level.

Yes, my flawless points should tell you something about it.
Nobody forces you to understand them, of course. So, no pressure.

You mocked my typo, I mocked yours. If you're going to have the audacity to mock someone's typographical error, don't make a similar mistake and cry about it later.

Are you talking about your mysterious "precessors"? Have you ended up understanding what "precessors" are? If so, please, do update us. Surely enough, everybody cares about what you post.
Not me, but someone surely does.

Maybe.
;)

You are funny! You think the U.S. market is the only place Apple sell the iPhone? Apple second largest market is China, Japan and surrounding countries then it does in the U.S. All is need is to schedule another run to change the packaging and the carrier software label. Everything else is the same.

No, I was giving the example for the US.
