With view online activity disabled, still shows in Members viewing list

If we have “view online activity” disabled in our member preferences, why is it still visible in the Members menu drop-down > Current Visitors > Members? Is my own member activity only viewable in that list by me, or can others see it too?

It must only show to you. I didn't see your name listed anywhere under those who have seen the thread. It looks like your privacy is still intact.

edited to add: If you are a movie star in hiding, can I have an autograph? After that you can go back to your super secret ways. 😀
