I am sure Apple is working on the same type of health technology via the Apple Watch but perhaps the larger area of your feet over a small wrist contact makes the problem easier, OR Apple has higher standards on what qualifies as a reliable measurement. In any event, it can't be long before an AW does the same thing....

Using add-on health modules that are available by prescription, the scale is able to track biomarkers that are usually only available in a clinical setting.
Sooo... I can't just buy these scales and expect them to work? I have to beg my non-cooperative doctor for whatever these health modules are first?

Is this the same people who made the scale that doesn't show your weight?
Interesting, my Withings shows my weight but randomly changes the units from kilos to pounds and then the stones! It’s been doing this for years, and despite reporting it nothing has changed. It’s fine in the app it’s only the scales only.

Seeing a lot of negative reviews about Wtihings on here. I actually have the Withings Body Smart Scale on my wishlist, since I wanted a new bodyweight scale to replace my older one of 7 years. I am going to try it out regardless of the reviews since it's only 100 bucks with the 30 days return policy.
