    Hi guys

I'm sharing files wirelessly between my MBA and a PC.

The MBA has N type network card
The PC has an USB connected N type Network adapter
The router is Dlink dir-655, also N-type

    Signal strenghts are good.

    So, the theoretical speed is 300 mbit/s = 37,5 MB/s

I normally reach about 1.7-1.8 MB/s when transferring files (also from the PC to a windows laptop)

When downloading from the internet I reach higher speeds, 2.5 MB/s (the limit of my internet connection)

What could be wrong, why are WLAN transfer speeds so slow? It can't be due to low signal strength, this would make internet speed slower too....

    Thanks for any advice!!
