How do I convert wma files to something importable to iTunes like mp3 or mp4?
If you drag a WMA into iTunes it will ask if you would like it to convert the file for you.
That works only on the Windows version of iTunes. For Macs, try EasyWMA. Of course, it's better to re-rip the tracks if possible, to ensure the best quality.
audacity (with mp3 plug-in)
Don't. You'll be reencoding the file and making the sound quality worse. Encode the MP3 from the original, lossless source such as a CD or WAV file.
And if the original is a DRM encoded WMA, you are out of luck. The only thing you can do is burn it to an audio CD (if the Windows music player/online store software allows it) and re-rip in iTunes
I have a Mac
Thanks, EasyWMA works like a charm!
I have VLC. I fail to see an option to "export" or "convert" anything
I know, unfortunately the CD itself is loss.
its there, trust me. "stream/exporting wizard" is what your after.
