WMV and Quicktime

Is there any way to play a wmv in quicktime? I was thinking a plugin or something ? Thanks

That's not going to happen, just like there is no (AFAIK) QuickTime plug-in for WMP. They are two totally different architectures.

If you want to play wmv/asf files but don't want to use Microsoft's Windows Media Player, I would suggest getting Video Lan Client (VLC).

microsoft does offer a very limited functionality WMP for OS X.. it's on their website. but as mentioned, VLC does pretty well too

Are you talking about Windows Media Player 9 or something that can play WMP 10 files on a mac?

WMP for mac only plays 9... no such way to play 10 files on a mac yet.. i don't even think VLC does, does it? i refuse to watch WMV files though...
