hi,

when i'm working in os x my Macbook is around 60° Celcius. When i run Vista in Fusion and i run a .wmv video file, the temperature climbs to 80° Celcius!! Is this normal? As soon as i pause the vmw, tempartures goes down to 60° again. How's this possble? The .wmv video file almost doesn't display any moving video, cause it's a CBT displaying mostly slides with audio.

Because Vista running in Parallels doesn't know how to power-manage a Mac? Because Vista is big hunking turd of an OS that has poor performance no matter what you do?

It gets better!

Network performance drops while Windows Media Player is running under vista due to some weird quirk of "optimization" of priority of media player threading or something. I forget the details, but its quite amusing.
