iPod WMV to iPod format

I know it is prob out there somewhere but I am too lazy to look for it. How do I make some of my WMV's compatible so I can put them on my iPod... I know how to do it for DVD's but how for WMV's?

I'm using the above mentioned iSquint right now to convert my video clips into mp4 format for the video ipod. It is incredibly slow. Anyone know of a faster (free) converter? Is the ffmpegX converter much faster? I'm converting anything from 3vix, mov, wmv, avi, etc.

As a side note, is there any way to convert real player files to mp4? None of the converters I've found will do this...

iSquint is relatively fast for the task you're asking. If you are doing this on a G3 you should expect it to be slow.
 
I just converted a bunch of video clips that were WMV's using squintz... The audio is now screwed up on some of the songs... This happening to anyone else?

I used ffmpegX for .rm files to the pod and have never had any success,
 
easy just use handbrake
i had this trouble for a while then i tried it as i use handbrake for avi to mp4 conversions too

i don't know if it will work with all wmvs as i only did one batch from the same source but they worked fine.

ditto for handbrake. it works like a charm.
