wmv videos on computer

A "friend" downloaded wmv videos on my laptop. I am trying to delete but I keep getting a response they are locked and they will not erase. How do I get rid of these wmv videos? They are in my trash

Highlight the file in questions. Push Command + I. Look to see if the "Locked" checkbox is checked. If it is, uncheck it. Attempt to delete again.

You can't empty the Trash or move a file to the Trash
