After sleeping with 10,091 men over 12 years in a drug and alcohol induced haze, former escort Gwyneth Montenegro is finally ready to settle down and experience true love for the first time.

The 36-year-old received an astounding 80 marriage proposals after the last time the Melbourne resident spoke to Daily Mail Australia in July about the launch of her book, 10,000 Men and Counting.

The overwhelming response to the insight into her former seedy lifestyle got Gwyneth thinking that maybe she was ready to meet a good man - something she never felt comfortable doing when being paid $500 to $1000 an hour to have sex with well-known lawyers, politicians and musicians.

Despite growing up in a contrast world being raised by devout Christians, her parents are her number one supporters.
'Mum joked that she thought I would have had enough of men by now,' she laughed.

Ms Montenegro said the years of men paying her for sex gave her a good insight into what men want from a woman.

'Clients would confide in me about the good and bad parts of their relationship,' she said.
'I feel I have a deeper understanding of men than ever before.'

Sounds like a lot of work..

If you assume that Montenegro had sex with one man per day, that means it would take her over 27 years to complete this feat. But considering that she only worked as an escort for a "drug-fueled" 12 years, we can make the assumption that she had sex with at least two men most days, likely 3-4 on some. And that men/day number grows even larger when you consider that Montenegro likely took vacations — did you know that you can count a vacation as an tax write-off if you spend more days for business than pleasure? — and days off.

To your statement: I think it would have to be a hazmat shower and the antibiotics would have to be intravenous.

Now my question about her: "Did she even have enough time to shower between men?" Gross! Kinda gives your statement new meaning.
 
And my question is, if the thread title instead read, 'Man Sleeps With 10,091 Women Over 12 Years' would the reaction and the tone used (as in discussion about showers, shower mats, antibiotics, and so on) be quite the same?

The numbers seem a bit off actually. 10,091 divided by 12 =840.9 yearly.
That works out to 2.3 every day of the year. I don't believe it.

Yes, pretty much my thoughts, too.

That is why I rephrased the question, in the hope - perhaps vain - that some individuals might have cause to think about why they respond in such a manner (contemptuous tone, dismissive and disgusted responses) and why the double standard on sexual promiscuity remains so strongly embedded in their respective psyches.

If you find her unattractive, try and think about all the sleazy, corrupt, elderly, ugly POS politicians (many doubtless married with a family) that spent tax dollars (in the form of their public salaries) to have sex with her. Not to mention drugged out musicians and slimy, unscrupulous lawyers. That's far, far less attractive, I think. .

It's easy to blame/mock the victim here, but her career says a lot more about society's values and behavior than it does about this woman's own morality.
