my goodness, that's outrageous. the fact she had loaded up her cart with $1,600 worth of merchandise shows how out of touch she is.
It's not like Walmart doesn't sell bigscreen TV's or hunting gear, things that can easily run hundreds of dollars. How about shopping for a LCD TV and maybe a DVD recorder to go with it. It's not that hard to spend $1600 in a store.

Or you could just blow that away with a nice $4000+ TV

Tho I found that same model for under $2000 outside of walmart....

Meh.

Crrazzy people...

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard...ever. Oh ya, and those thousand and 100 thousand dollar bills are awesome.

The bill was a novelty item that can be bought at gag shops. Pike told police she got it from her estranged husband, who is a coin collector.

I knew an Air Force fighter pilot whose wife was gradually going insane. He eventually left her, which I can't totally blame him for. (For that matter, I knew a guy at college whose mother seemed very normal and then one day ran off from the family, occasionally calling home and saying some very paranoid, irrational things. She won't tell them where she is.) Anyway, I can't help but wonder if the estranged husband gave it to her out of exasperation, cruelly hoping she would embarrass herself with it. Or if, because they're estranged, she was hard up for cash and came to him and he gave the novelty bills to her to get her to go away. Sad indeed.
