Woman waiting to buy an Ipad2?

So, any other woman on the forum also waiting to buy an Ipad 2? Looking to buy a white wifi 64GB on friday. Either at BB, Target or Samsclub. It will be my first Ipad. Hubby doesn't even know what an Ipad is, he'll find out after he tries my Ipad 2 out :)

Any have yahoo messenger and wanna chat about the ipad2? sk_schutjer
 
Not here, this place is chock full of 30+ year old male virgins living in their parent's basement :eek:
 
My wife may ultimately decide to get one Friday as well but even if she does, she'll be relying on her trusty pack mule (aka - ME!) to fetch it for her. :D
 
My husband bought me the original iPad on my birthday last year, so this year I'll go stand in line for an iPad 2 for him as an anniversary present.

Not sure if it's worth upgrading my 32gb 3G iPad for an iPad 2, but at least I'll get to play with his to see if it's faster. (that's what she said) :p
 
I'll be hitting the mall Friday too. Lunch, shopping for Spring clothes and picking up a 64GB WiFi. Perfect day.
 
Female here, too! I'm going to pick up the iPad, shop, & have dinner (hopefully at Panera where there's free wifi :p) with friends.

My boyfriend has no interest in tech stuff. He has a MBP & iTouch, but that's as far as he goes.
 
Yep! I'm getting a white 32gb 3g on Friday... less than 72 hours and counting!
 
My husband could care less, but yep, I'll be in line at 4:30 on Friday! Getting the black 3G, 16 or 32GB, still undecided.
 
Yup! I didn't think I would replace my first gen since I only got it in October, but hubby will be taking my old one so I don't feel "too" guilty! Hopefully will score one in white. Not sure about the smart cover tho.
 
My wife is waiting for me to buy an iPad 2, because then she gets my current iPad. So, I'd guess that that counts, right?

Good luck! I wish that I had had an iPad when I was teaching middle school science. It would have been an outstanding tool. My old PowerBook did a pretty good job, though.

Not a woman but a fellow Iowan! Actually I don't know if I'll be buying one, but I'll go play with one on Friday and make up my mind then. Just got a wifi ipad 1 on CL a few days ago and Im very satisfied

Nice to meet another Iowan! by the way there is an apple store in Iowa, just one though in DesMoines :)

Definitely buying one. My hubby will get my current iPad. And since I have twinfants and a toddler I'll have to buy mine online - there is no way I'm standing in line with 3 under 3. That's just 32 flavors of crazy.
 
From your neighbor to the east. I am looking to get the 64GB with the camera connection kit and the cover. The Best Buy Store is much closer to me than the Apple Store(actually don't have one in our town), so I will give them a try first probably Saturday. :)
 
I'm hoping to order online first thing Friday morning. =) WiFi, 16GB - I keep going back and forth between the colors but am leaning towards white.
