Wont lock screen in landscape

Hi!

Everytime I lock the screen rotation on my iPhone in landscape mode, it automatically turns to portrait.

Bottom line, it won't lock the screen in landscape mode. I've tried turning it off and on again, and nothing changed.

What should I do?

You should relax as there is nothing wrong with your phone. When I turn my 7+ to put it in landscape and hit the lock button, it snaps back to portrait. Looks like Apple will not allow locking in landscape but only portrait

Thats odd. I don't remember it acting like this before

I do not think I have ever tried to lock my phone in landscape. No matter as Apple says NO!

It's always been that way.

iOS 11 will allow the lock screen to be in landscape though
