I'm hoping that, once there aren't contract plans for me anymore, I'll actually be able to extend my phone cycle. No longer leaving money on the table by paying the hidden subsidy when the contract ends without getting something for it. I'll just buy a nicer model when they come out for longevity.

Looking through the upgrade options on ATT, there were certified used products available.
Word of warning to those buying certified used att or any other non Apple retailer.

If u buy an older generation model. Say u buy a certified iPhone 6 (2014 model today). If it's not Apple officiated certified refurbished. U will only get 90 days warranty from att or the remaining warranty left from original time phone was purchased. Aka say iPhone 6 was purchased in October 2014. Since it's not official Apple certified. U won't get the full 12 months warranty. U get the greater of 90 days or whatever was left of original warranty.

I always buy a year later ... as everyone is celebrating the new upcoming 6s ... I just bought a 128gb 6+

Just listed mine on Swappa and CL, hoping that I can sell to make up for the full price I bought the 6s+ for. Might end up doing the iPhone Upgrade Program going forward though.
