Lot more with Tiger Woods going on this morning. Someone was taken to the hospital from his home early this morning... turn on the news.

I saw that...I wonder what the hell is going on, this is getting weirder by the minute.

I guess it turns out that Tiger Woods was the Tiger Woods of cheating.

CNN covering live some woman being taken out on stretcher; reports of this being 10th linked to Tiger... he has certainly demolished his reputation/career in a very short time... I expect his commercial sponsors to start dropping him soon...

I'll say!
I don't care much for golf, but from what the media previously portrayed he seemed like an upstanding family man. It's no wonder he tried to keep his life so secret with all these skeletons in his closet.

His reputation definitely.. His career? Remains to be scene, but I doubt it.. I also doubt any sponsors will drop him.. Might slow down some new deals from being signed until he rebuilds his image, but he won't be dropped as a direct result of this..

This will blow over.. It always does.. He'll rebuild his image & everyone will continue to profit off of Tiger Woods- including Tiger Woods..

Just a coincidence?
Emergency crews were summoned to Tiger Woods' Orlando-area mansion for the second time in less than two weeks Tuesday, this time because his mother-in-law was having stomach pains.
Could be stress-induced, but nothing scandalous.

Have you seen a Tiger Woods commercial on television lately ? ;)

Yep. Sponsors know that with any high profile celebrity, this kind of thing can happen. They're not going to drop him. In fact, since it's happened once, they know that it's less likely to happen again. Not that Woods will stop cheating necessarily, but he'll learn to be smarter about it.

Commercials featuring Tiger Woods have been pulled from television networks' prime-time broadcasts and 19 cable channels, Bloomberg News reports, citing Nielsen Co. In addition, Woods' ads did not appear during several weekend sports programs including NFL games, according to a Nielsen spokesman cited by Bloomberg. The last Woods commercial to appear in prime-time was a spot for Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) unit Gillette Co. on Nov. 29. Woods, who was involved in a car accident just after Thanksgiving and has been accused of several extramarital affairs, is also a spokesman for Pepsico Inc.'s (PEP) Gatorade and Nike Inc. (NKE).

And the claims of drug/alcohol overdose being the cause of the accident are even more worrying.

People claiming that Woods only hurt himself are true, but if was wasted and he hadn't crashed there ... he might have taken out a family.

These new claims that the initial ICU news was true might get his endorsements yanked, even if he doesn't get arrested.

The police failed to get the blood before the people spoke, but if they pin the people making these statements down a bit better, they might go back and try again.

Seems the story is taking a trip down the rabbit hole in any case. Just plain stranger by the minute. Though someone has to replace Wacko Jacko.

Once again your evidence is way off...

"As reported last month, we decided several months ago to discontinue Gatorade Tiger Focus along with some other products to make room for our planned series of innovative products in 2010. We hope to share more about our 2010 plans soon."

It goes onto say:
Unofficially one Gatorade rep told RadarOnline.com that the company's "partnership" with the golfer will continue. That rep said: ""Our partnership with Tiger does continue. Tiger and his family have our support as he works through his private matter."

Reading beyond the headlines, good idea.

Has anyone else seen that Tiger is changing his name to Cheetah?!.

Idiot would be more appropriate for Tiger... he demolished his own empire all on his own due only to selfishness, will likely lose most of his wealth to either lawyers or his soon to be ex, and his brand is now trashed. Unsaid is his damage to his family... Worse, we'll all have to live through months of apologists excusing his behavior!

indefinite |inˈdefənit|
adjective
lasting for an unknown or unstated length of time : they may face indefinite detention.
• not clearly expressed or defined; vague : their status remains indefinite.

"retired" may be a strong word but it is what it is.

Main Entry: retired
Function: adjective
Date: 1590
1 : secluded <a retired village>
2 : withdrawn from one's position or occupation : having concluded one's working or professional career
3 : received by or due to one in retirement

Official retirement would require him to file retirement papers with the PGA.

That is not what he is doing.

He's simply taking a break (so that he can hide for a while).

Retirement is not an indefinite break...... there is nothing indefinite about retiring. When you retire, it is definite.

It doesn't say that he's retiring in the link you posted.
