I lived in Emeryville and Alameda, not actually in Oakland, but I spent so much time there I considered myself a Oakland bum cause i had no home in Oakland. And that's the story of my name.

i saw a sign just yesterday - maybe on a bus - that said alameda used to be the coney island of the west. fancy that.

i was just curious, cuz i used to live in N, W, and E oakland.

Hey guys, play nice now, or do I have to come over and change all of your folding computers. Replace your name with mine?

are you an oakland rat, too? :D

ah, that's cool. I was hoping to move to the Oakland Hills in the NE, but that didn't work out. And some crappy company based in Emeryville, just off of Hollis St. wouldn't give me a job. So I had to leave the bay area.

that sucks. it's been a tough market here for the last coupla' three years. i've seen single jobs get over 1000 resumes. my gf was out of work for 2 years.

Congratulations! And it's a good thing you found some more CPUs cause I was getting awfully close to matching your production,(only short by about 30 points for the day...). Bad news is we have another power down scheduled for tomorrow.

sorry wdlove, I know you really really want this in your sig, but haven't had the time yet.... sorry!

That is OK Dreadnought, no reason for you to be sorry. I realize that you have a life. Just wanted to get an update. I will be patient, thank you for responding. ;)

Well, if anyone else figures it out before me, please go ahead! How do you get a piece of text from some other place and "paste" it into your signature... Nice, it will keep me awake tonight! :p

the best i can do is give you a custom hack to my script. (this custom hack will not work for any other login but wdlove.)

http://foxinfotainment.com/cgi-bin/pointer.cgi?wdlovesig

compared to http://foxinfotainment.com/cgi-bin/pointer.cgi?wdlove

i basically re-created your current signature with and up-to-date folding number, and included copy/pastable source to make it easier for you to update your sig. maybe.

it's the best i can do within the rules of vbulletin.

Thank you shemp9999, you are a great programer. I just want to be sure, if I use this in my signature it will only update it the way it currently looks plus a dynamic update to my folding points. The reason that I ask is because when I click on the link, there is a lot of extraneous words.

I wanted to be safe than sorry. So I wanted to ask first.

So if I understand it correctly, I will erase what is in my Signature now and just paste your masterfully created link instead? :)

Looking at the sourcecode, don't see how this will update your points automatically. Sorry wdlove.

Thank you Dreadnought. :( I will keep an eye on this. It is correct according to Stanford at 2:50pm EST.

Looks like your points are a bit off. Just checked, your points are over 1500. And such an increase couldn't just happen overnight!

I do have 4 procesors folding now, all running at different speed. Just check the code done for me by shemp9999, it is updating itself. So could I now copy and past it into my sigature. I do wonder exactlt what I copy, the link it self has uneeded information at the bottom.

yo, been away from the box...

there is no dynamic. i tried to have it output text you could copy and replace into your sig now and again, but you also use hyperlinks in your sig, so i provided html if you wanted that. but vb blocks html in signatures, too, so that's not so good either.

you'll just have to get in the habit of updating your sig manually.

Thank you, I appreciated all the work that you put into a valor effort. It was still worth the effort though. ;)

Time to contribute to my own WooHooo! topic again!!!!

Tomorrow I'll hit the 30,000 point mark!!!!!!! SWEET!!!!
[EDIT: I have now hit the 30,000 point mark!!! and am one of the top 15 producers on the team!]

I wish I could buy everyone a drink! Car Bombs on me!!! hehehehe...

Keep up the good work ladies and gents!

Congrats and thanks for the drink! Instead of buying us all a drink, you could also give us a Itunes song! :D

Congratulations twiztidn8v on hitting the 30000th point mark of folding.

Dreadnought, I just noticed that twiztidn8v has a link in his signature "My Stats" that allows an update. Do you know how he's doing that? If so can it be applied to us?

He linked to a picture that is automated when you click on the link. It came also along in the other thread (or in this one, somewhere above). Unfortunately we cannot put pictures in our sig, but we can link to them, like twiztidn8v did (not an easy name...).

You can copy this in your sig and change "My Stats" to the text that you prefer:
[ URL=http://gfx.statgfx.com/old/folding.cgi?&username=wdlove&border=0,0,0&custom=255,0,0&label=0,0,0&header=255,0,0&stats=255,0,0&bgcolor=0,0,0&trans=yes&template=fah_original&.jpg" target="_blank"]My Stats[ /URL] (I have put in two spaces, both next to the [, get them out and it works, else I couldn't show you!)

Like this:
