You can get the Apple Pencil Pro for $79.99, down from $129.00, and the USB-C Apple Pencil for $49.99, down from $79.00. Both of these beat Amazon's current discount prices by about $20, and they represent new record low prices on each model.

Both accessories come in New (Open Box) condition, meaning they are expected to be in excellent condition, but are not guaranteed to come in the traditional retail packaging from Apple. They also include at least 120 days remaining of the original Apple warranty.

You can find out which iPad is compatible with each Apple Pencil by visiting Apple's website. The Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the 11-inch M4 iPad Pro, 13-inch M4 iPad Pro, 11-inch M2/M3 iPad Air, 13-inch M2/M3 iPad Air, and iPad mini 7.

If you're on the hunt for more discounts, be sure to visit our Apple Deals roundup where we recap the best Apple-related bargains of the past week.

Update: The Apple Pencil Pro is out of stock, but the USB-C model remains available.

Is Apple working on Pencil Ultra; titanium or carbon fibre and both ends are functional.

iPad Pro + Pencil Pro >> iPad + keyboard

I wonder how many iPad users use a pencil (i.e. what is the demand) ?
I use it tremendously in my job, but almost never use it for home/personal use. So I can honestly say the answer is “it depends”.

Your question makes a very good point.

The problem really is the price point. I have one and I also have a really good 3rd party pencil that I picked up for $19.99. They both work the same with the 3rd party option offering some benefits over the Apple Pencil.

I use mine a lot in various ways: draw floor plans, sign documents, edit photos, draw quick instructional pictures …
I don’t use mine very often but it does have some really cool benefits, as for signing documents and tapping absurdly tiny UI elements, etc.

That’s what the pencil should cost anyway. It’s such a throwaway item. If you don’t charge it for a while it dies entirely.
yikes, I'd better find mine, then. I think it rolled under my bed...:p

That's common to all battery powered devices.
No, there are ways to “wake” up dead batteries enough to charge them.

The limit is not the battery technology but the implementation of charging technology.

I have a duracell rechargeable battery charger that balks at a lot of batteries. My much older charger with reconditioning and more granular options will wake up many batteries, but not all. But there are internet methods to wake up even further gone “dead” batteries using good batteries and wires and voodoo.

So the Apple pencil could be made to operate again if Apple offered a genius bar service to wake it up using a specialized tool. The issue would be cost.
