135€ in germany damn, but then again you don't need the pencil at all. Worst add-on for the iPad.

My magnetic Apple Pencil broke when falling on the floor, thanks to the “great” Magic Keyboard and its “pencil holder”. Anyways, i have heard i could get a cheaper replacement if i go through apple service and make an appointment in the Apple Store. Does this still work? Or are the Amazon prices cheaper than a replacement price?

it's used
I don't think they are physically used, but possible returned unopened items with possibly some slight damage to packaging. I have ordered some stuff from Woot before and gotten really good deals.

I wonder how many iPad users use a pencil (i.e. what is the demand) ?

I have a Mini A17 Pro and the Pencil Pro has refused to sync with Find My since I bought them. I like it, but I use the PP for note taking and as a stylus. I like the thing but it’s grossly overpriced and the use cases with the Pro features are limited.

They are open box without original packaging. What do you call it?

Like I said, I have ordered from Woot several times. in fact, I just ordered an Apple Braided Solo Loop a few weeks ago when they were posted on this very site as being on sale. Got a red one for $29. Came in original Apple sealed box, that and a Cloud blue loop band. Same thing, exactly Apple packageing. So Yeah.

The problem really is the price point. I have one and I also have a really good 3rd party pencil that I picked up for $19.99. They both work the same with the 3rd party option offering some benefits over the Apple Pencil.
I’m sure you’re right, but admittedly, I’ve only used Apple Pencils and don’t think twice about the Apple tax. I’ve loved the integration aspect in almost every Apple product so I don’t branch out far from the tree. I imagine good 3rd party pencils are fantastic for people that just need one for casual use, if not more.

It is hit-or-miss and I also don’t stray from Apple products. However, I ordered a few to try for traveling purposes and was shocked that one of them was equally as good, if not superior to, the Apple Pencil at a fraction of the cost.
