Hi all!

I have a problem with my Word 2008...

Say I open a document and press Apple+Space to change an input language to anything other than English. Now when I press a new document icon Word would open a new document page but would change the input language to English!

How do I make Word not chage input language for a new document? It drives me nuts and I am ready to smash my iMac.

PS> Excel doesn't do it and Word 2008 on my MBP doesn't do.

Hello,

I had the same problem with my macbook and os office for mac 2008. The i ran and update search, installed it and now it is not happening. However, if I open a new word document (word is closed at the moment), word still changes to english input.

depending which language you are trying to type it shows up differently

usually you type the word of the other language word in english syallables for example japanese:

i want to write konnichiwa (hello) so i type in ko n ni chi wa (with no spaces) you should be getting a underlined english text like ko while your typing it after you make the 1st couple words and stuff it becomes into the other language text. so こんにちわ would be my result.
