WORD, And Opening Speed Of Question

Hello,

Have the latest, or close to it, version of WORD.

I tend to "Quit" after using.

If so, it seems to take forever to re-open up again.
The icon just bounces up and down.
Not all that much of an exaggeration to say you could probably
go out for a cup of coffee.

But, if I don't "Quit" it, (the "open" dot is under the icon in the Dock) it opens right up.

Any thoughts on what is happening, and why ?

Yes. It does that sometimes. However the last version I used would start instantly. Latest version of office have much better performance. May want to reinstall after removing all traces of it from Library too.

Definitely worth checking to see if you have the latest word update - help menu - check for updates
