Is there a font on Pages or something I can download (preferable for free) that is similar to Word Art from MS?

IMO stuff like that gets old REALLY fast. Every time I see Word Art now I cringe.
Working something up in Illustrator or Photoshop that's actually original not only looks a lot better but lends a lot more creativity to your work. There are cheaper alternatives to this, like The GIMP (free!).
