I am having problems with some word documents, I am doing a group project with some classmates and I got a word document from a friend using Office 2003 on Windows in .doc format, when I first opened the file on my mac it was aligned to the right, so I changed the alignment to the left. When I use the Quick Look function to view the document it appears that it's aligned to the right, when I email the document to my classmates and they open it on windows they tell me that it's aligned to the right.

I tried opening the file in TextEdit and the document is aligned to the right, how can I fix the problem?!

I am using Office 2008 on a first gen macbook air running the latest leopard.

Thank you in advance

There's always going to be annoying, small formatting problems going between different versions of Office, especially Windows <-> Mac. I don't think there's anything you can do to permanently fix it.
