Greetings,
I know this forum is for Windows users, but I can't seem to find a Forum for Word for MAC, so here I am.
Using Find & Replace in MAC 2011, the document does not advance to the searched item as in other Search programs. Instead, the item is only highlighted, requiring that I scroll through the doc to find it. There must be a way to toggle this function on, but I can't find it. Help?

First, the obvious things:
This question goes in the Mac Apps and Mac App Store forum. :)
Does your Word document use any macros, and if so, are they enabled? It's possible for a macro to interfere with this feature.

Now, for the likely solution:
Do you see a navigation pane pop up when you try to find something? If you do, that's the key to making this work: You must click the result in the nav pane, and Word will dutifully scroll to the location in the document.
If you do NOT get a navigation pane, you might have turned it off in Word's preferences without realizing what this would do to the find and replace feature. Or, you may just need to go to the menus and activate it there.
(Disclaimer: I have not used Word 2011 for Mac in a while.)

Thanks for your response, wrldwzrd89

After reading your response, I tried the search again after turning off and rebooting Track Changes (which I neglected to say I was running) and the search function now behaves normally.
