Word formatting palette disappeared

In my Word document, my formatting palette has disappeared to the buttom of my screen and I cannot drag it up, so that I can see and use it. How do I place it in the middle of my screen, next to the word document, so that it's accessible? (I have made sure that it's click ON in "View", so it should be active).
