Word Header Display & Print

I have a "nice" color band in a "header" in a word document. I wold like it to print across the entire page, as if it was a "form" or a marketing collateral piece. Whether in a header or in the body of the document, how can one print full width at the top edge and two sides of the page, while having the desired test content. In Word...?

Think full width printing relates to your printer and it's driver....at least I think so....
