So I'm wondering which is the best for taking notes in university.
    (Im taking Sciences)

    Pages

    or

    Microsoft Word

I'm game to buy either one right now but I'm just not sure which is better and will benefit me the most.

    Thanks

If you need compatibility and will be turning papers in, etc. then Word

If you are just taking notes for yourself, then Bean (free)

If you need more power, iCloud, etc., then Pages

A lot of universities, at least in my experience, are not very Mac-friendly. All of my papers have to be submitted in .docx format. I have Office 2011 for Mac and really like it. I tried Open Office, but it had formatting issues sometimes when submitting my papers in .docx format.
