Word "Suggestion" on the Iphone

Is there any way to shut of the feature on the Iphone that would prevent it from suggesting words for me whilst I am typing. It is annoying when I start typing a word and another shows up and I have to correct it to what I want!!!!

Settings - General - Keyboard & turn off 'Autocorrection'.
