WordPress blog theme for multiple users

I'm looking for a WordPress theme that will let me create a travel blog, but allow me to assign each individual blog post to specific users, who will then only be able to view those posts. Is there such a thing? Since this is for personal use, I'd prefer something free or very affordable.

Instead of a WordPress theme, it could also be a standalone installation that can be set up on a web server.
