Wordsmith app - error message

Anyone familiar with Wordsmith? I just bought the ad-free version and I keep getting an error message when I try to initiate a game. I did a shut down & restart and I'm still getting the same message. In addition to the picture below, I'm also getting a notification that says something like, "We cannot connect to the server - you will be working offline".

Is this something I can fix on my end, or is it a problem with the app itself? Any suggestions?

Disregard - the issue was with their server(s). Problem was resolved.
