    Hi guys, I need to upgrade my old 2009 macbook, that is starting to get too slow for my work as iOS developer. The only thing is, I also love gaming, so my doubt is:

    1) Buy the new one with the m370x, as it seems to run fine Witcher 3 on low-mid;

    2) Buy the 2014 version of the base model (as it's basically the same thing as the 2015) AND a PS4

    Arguments for the first option: games for PC are *much* cheaper in my country (W3 for PC it's R$99 and for ps4 it's R$220), and i'll get 512gb SSD.

    What do you think?

    I used a MBP (Specs Below) for gaming and I was happy for a while. But after a year or 2 the graphics will be outdated for graphic intense games. I decided to move my gaming over to a PS4 and I'm happier. I don't put stress on a laptop that costs 2K+ and games are smooth at 1080P and games look awesome. I would buy a refurbished 2014 and get a PS4. I didn't mind paying 50$ for PS+ and 40$ avg for a game because I'm happy with the quality of the games and easy of use. Just look at "The Last of US" and you'll see the capabilities of the PS4. There's no way a MBP can pull it off.

    Easily a refurb 2014 retina display either 13" or 15" with a PS4. rMBP's are absolutely incredible machines but a PS4 is much better for gaming. 1080p at a consistent 60FPS. I agree with the post above. If you have a decent TV...The Last of Us remastered is absolutely stunning! Much better idea to get a refurb and a PS4. Absolutely in love with my PS4.
