I'm currently using an iphone 3s (ios3) which i sync to my 2007 macbook running osx 10.4 (tiger). i pre-ordered the 4s and it'll be waiting for me at home tonight. i'm worried about the upgrade process. what's the simplest/cheapest way to get my contacts, etc. from the 3s onto my 4s?

thanks!

Backup your 3GS in iTunes. Then connect your iPhone 4S - do not let it sync. Instead chose Restore, then chose to Restore from the backup you just made of the 3GS - it should have a time stamp on it.

Some have had issues with this method disabling Siri. Al you have to do in reboot iPhone 4s, then go into settings and re-enable Siri and enter your iTunes password.
