"Scrolling through workflows can be sped up with a rather unique interaction -- knocking the Apple Watch against the iPhone in a pants pocket"

Wait what? So if the watch is on my left hand, and my phone is in my right pocket, I have to do some kind of Macarena dance move to speed up the scrolling? I have read this sentence 10 times.... Nothing about it makes sense.

i would love to see someone do the macarena randomly in the street. That seems like the most logical and most fun thing i have ever heard of. ever.

The saddest thing I have seen today: either you ordered this and then cancelled it just so you could do a screen grab, or you have the money, but are empty inside and therefore need people to validate your worth through their equally shallow admiration, or you want to annoy people like me for fun which has no satircal value and is equally sad.

Then to post it first just wreaks of a "look at me, look at me" complex.

Let's just hope it's a phase. Good luck in the future. I hope you resolve it all to your benefit.

Why are you so bitter? For some of us, $16,000 isn't a lot of money. Someone in a different part of the world is probably just as bitter about someone else getting the sports model.

Or they just have like.... A LOT more money than you do, & you aren't taking it too well lol.

Agreed... people should take a chill pill when it comes to slamming others. There are a lot of intelligent and financially stable people on this site.

Good for them they can afford a gold edition.

Now back to workflow... sounds cool. Some interesting possibilities with this.

I'll validate that (1) you trolled well, and (2) got a nice watch!

Wish there was a way to get the red band by itself. I don't particularly want to spend $11k on a red watchband then what - flip the watch on eBay?

Every thread I go to there is this guy desperately telling the world what he has. I just find it sad. I'm not bitter. Slightly sympathetic, but not bitter.

Can't wait!

I'll definetely use this app.

The saddest thing I have seen today ...

No offense, but your picture contributed nothing to the conversation.

I mean, I don't think it's any worse than me saying I'm excited for my SS watch that has a delivery date of 4/24-5/8. I guess more people aren't doing that in this post, but if it's a legit purchase they can be just as excited as me. And for the gold watch, most people would think it is just a joke/troll attempt without a pic!

I don't think it's any worse than other forums I frequent where people will show off a crazy expensive PC gaming rig, or an audiophile site with gear that cost as much as my car.

EDIT: Just saw your post above mine. This is the first post I see of theirs, so maybe I just haven't seen enough posts yet. :)

I know. I knew that, but couldn't resist. We all bite sometimes though. Not often, but once in a while.

There is no way that I can respond to this without validating your view or being as equally sad as the poster of the original comment. So I'll refrain.

The reason I like Workflow has more to do with the potential of the app. In reality, the one thing I use it for regularly is I have a button that I tap to send my wife a text when I'm headed home from work. ;)

"Desperately" is not the adjective to use when describing his post history. He looks as excited as anyone else who ordered the watch.

Ooh, this actually made me think more highly of the Apple Watch! I could see this as being very useful.

In jacobj's defense, I too defended the OP once, but later saw them actually flaunting their wealth in a very arrogant manner.

I'm fine with them buying 1 gold, and 1 space gray MacBook as well as an Apple Watch Edition. If they have the money and it makes them happy, go for it, but it's getting to the point where it's within the first 3 posts on any related thread.

And, like I said, I was for them until I saw him/her being very arrogant in another thread. What does it matter, all these off topic posts will be deleted anyway.

This seems like exactly the kind of company / app Apple will buy and then introduce as a built-in feature in iOS 9 or 10.

Yet you responded anyway, & stated that you will refrain from responding in that very same response. lol.

Its ok. You'll eventually be able to afford it. Just keep working hard.

Every time I come across this app, I think about grabbing it but none of the examples given seem useful or relevant to me. I'm either not looking at enough examples, or perhaps I am a boring person. People seem to swear by this app and think it would make a good Apple purchase.

You should check out their subreddit, gives good insight into what people are doing with it.

Beat me to it. I just picked it up and it is a truly cool app and yes there are a boat load of things you can do with it! Really take a look a the link provided!!!

I'll definetely use this app.

It will look very nice with the 2 new MacBooks you ordered.
Oh wait nobody gives a **** that you show us every order you make in every damn thread. That lonely and insecure? Must really suck.
When you realise the pain actually doesn't go away you can always donate to my charity called "People that hate themselves Foundation".

Well, it can also be knocked against the iPhone when it's not in your pocket, that's just the example they gave us.

You also could do a backflip standing in place. And by the time you are done flipping it would have scrolled to the next workflow.

Everything about this app screams intuitiveness. Except this phone tappy watch thingy move.

Workflow is like a wee app store. It has some simple workflows for very specific tasks. It can be immensely helpful if you know what you’re looking for, but like the App Store it can also be overwhelming and dull if you don’t know what you’re missing. It does require a bit of outside-the-box-thinking. I’m sure it can add great utility to the Apple Watch.

Personally, I think they should offer a demo version with an in-app purchase. I’d wager that many potential customers are simply reluctant until they’ve actually tried it. €3 is a relatively steep price.
