I've installed several including fancontrol and none are working, presumably because Haswell is so new. I've also installed the Temperature Gauge app but the temperatures it gives don't move...i.e. they never ever change (my CPU has been stuck on 39* no matter what I do...)

What's the best working app for CPU temp with Haswell?

Why care? All processors will either shut down or throttle when they overheat. Frankly I think all these threads about overheating are just silly. Unless your computer is randomly shutting down there is no reason to care. What does knowing the temps gain you? The only Mac I have ever put a Temperature program on isy Mac Pro because I upgraded the processors and added non-spec memory so I was concerned about my upgrades. Any of my macs running factory processors and in-spec memory I just let my computer deal with heat.
