First off i have dial up internet (high speed isnt available )
I recently ordered a Macbook. My friend gave me a dial up modem with software to program it to windows. I was just wondering if anyone knows a way to program this windows modem to mac. I would imagine the modem themselves are the same its the software that is different. Is there a way to download the software for mac, or can you just tweak with the modem a bit and make it work on mac?

Im in desperate need of help, please respond.
Thanks. :)

I had a windows usb fax modem I could never get to work. I had to go ahead and purchase a modem from apple.
It can be found for about $50. For some reason I couldn't find a link from the Apple store, but here is one from Amazon.com.
