Got it working. Disconnected and reconnected. Seems like the HDD needed to be 'refreshed'.

Just a question about Time Machine.

How do you browse the backed up files in the TM console?

Can I rename the folder which it create on my External HD?

Does it back up daily, as I make changes to my machine's files?

1. Go to System Preferences -> Time Machine. Check the "Show Time Machine in menu bar" option. Click the Time Machine icon on the menu bar and click "Enter Time Machine"

2. Don't think so.

3. Per apple.com - "Time Machine keeps hourly backups for the past 24 hours, daily backups for the past month, and weekly backups until your backup drive is full."
