Is there a difference between the workout display option on these two watch sizes?

When my GF uses the outdoor walk workout, the 38mm watch is able to display multiple items on the screen, switch the top item between TIME, WORKOUT TIME, etc, then there is the bottom set of options for CALORIES, HR, etc...

but in the MIDDLE one can select other items similar to the top display..TIME, WORKOUT TIME, DISTANCE etc. essentially being able to get ONE EXTRA DATA point on the screnn.

I can find no way to get this to display on the 42MM size OUTDOOR workout.. is there some option to enable this?

    Watch app-Settings-Workout-Show Goal Metric on.

thanks.. I knew it was user error. Since I never used the progress part (since I always just do a no limit workout) I never saw that area being used before to show progress.. which I imagine it does.
