I will be mowing the lawn later today, a job I don’t look forward to, so I thought I might as well get some credit for the effort by using my Watch to record a workout while mowing the lawn.

My question is: which workout type should I select?
 
Yah, I use other. I tried using the walk one, but because you're holding your hands steady the whole time I didn't get much credit for it. Other gives you credit for all the time you're out there.

Definitely other. It’s the workout I’d recommend for anything that isn’t listed in the menu.
 
The vibrations from the mower, I think, send my steps into overdrive.

I manage to do about 7000 steps apparently while mowing - not a chance do I do that much.

So you can cheat
