Really hasn't US gotten farther in the last 3 then England?😀

People like to talk smack about the US but they have gotten the screw job at the WC a lot. Def think they are better then Portugal tho maybe not better then Ghana.

I don't think either of these teams will even get out of group stage!!!!

No way is England at Uruguays level. Italy is Italy at the WC no matter who they send. Remember the "crap" team in 06 or what everyone said was a bunch of old useless players. Spain is super over rated and do badly against South American teams. If they don't beat holland they will get knocked out.

I am very excited for it to start. Group A no one is talking about but neither Mexico or Croatia are cake walks. To me the two most exciting euro teams are Croatia and Belgium.
 
Wouldn't it be so weird if Brazil ends up playing Uruguay in the final and Brazil loses again? That 1950 loss by Brazil was considered by many one of the most heartbreaking losses in World Cup history.

2010:
USA eliminated by Ghana (who lose in QFs) in last 16.
England eliminated by Germany (who finish third) in last 16.

2006:
USA finish bottom of group with one draw and two losses.
England eliminated on penalties to Portugal (who finish fourth) in QFs.

2002:
USA eliminated by Germany (runners up) in QFs.
England eliminated by Brazil (winners) in QFs.

Other than that, you're entirely correct.

Team that's in the last 8 in 2of the last 3 can't be called ****. Also in 06. FIFA openly robbed them against italy

Is FIFA corrupt?

Hi,
I just watched the Mexico - Cameroon game today, and I can't believe the referees invalidated Mexico's first two goals. I was watching the game on ESPN and Univision, and both groups of commentators couldn't believe how horrible the calls were. Mexico should have won that game 3 to 0, rather than 1 to 0.

Which leads me to ask the question? Is FIFA corrupt? Are referees/FIFA trying to ensure that certain teams make it through?

a) Yes. Incredibly corrupt.

b) No: FIFA isn't corrupt in terms of 'match fixing', and referees are inept rather than dodgy. There's certainly no interest in seeing Cameroon advance rather than Mexico. In the opening match Croatia were equally 'cheated' in their match against Brazil; I'm sure that the referee wasn't consciously pro-Brazil, but I guess the home crowd – and a desire to leave the stadium alive – do have some impact on his thought processes.

Yes FIFA's corrupt, but I believe all sports organization have corrupt individuals.

James is GOD !!! Don't pick Jackson he is like 5th choice for Colombia. Teo is 1st choice striker and probably will be cheap.

Ramos is last choice striker for Colombia. We were thinking of bringing a 60% Falcao over Ramos haha.

Also Called Spain sucking haha
