I lose brain cells thinking of the people who think that there's people who think wrestling is real.

I also lose brain cells thinking of the people that think of people that think there's people who think wrestling is real even though they think they thought it was fake by thinking of the recent thoughts telling them deep down inside it was fake.

You think i think you thought i thought it was fake when in reality I am a big fan of the rock

How he does fake movements after he punches, the hair moving...late reaction to being hit with the chair, over 20 fake punches, fall to a tested and very safe platform that absorbs the fall...

Yeah, right. He fell about 15 feet onto a wooden table that collapsed onto a thin mat covering a concrete floor. He suffered serious injuries from that and couldn't even remember it. Don't even pretend for a second you'd jump off of that landing flat on your back.

People like you are too much. And it makes it all the funnier that you think you're the one who isn't an idiot just because you "know" wrestling is scripted.

Yeah, now I'm a bit mad. I'm done with this.

----------

We are dumber as a nation because of this. Why do people like this scripted nonsense.
Oh, look. It's one of those people who think the nation is actually getting "dumbed down" or something. Wrestling has been around for hundreds of years, has it not?

And newsflash, movies and TV shows are 100000x times faker. Wrestlers at least do their own stunts.

When Brock Lesnar couldn't cut it in the UFC I no longer take any of those fakes seriously. I love "The Rock" as a actor but put him in the ring with a real UFC fighter that looks average I'm putting my money on the UFC fighter.

Huh? Brock dominated UFC and won the world title. He suffered a serious injury that made him retire, the reason being that people just would've targeted his injury and done even worse damage and it wasn't worth the risk.

All this ignorance.

Alright, now I'm done.

Fake in what way? Sure the storyline is scripted, somethings like tables are made to break easy, etc. And the fight aspects of it like punches, kicks, etc are held back( obviously).

But, can't fake this fall.....

YouTube: video

Though if people seriously think Undertaker has mysterious demonic powers, Kane is a monster from hell, Brock Lesnar is breaking peoples arms left and right, etc than yeah their IQ is pretty low. But, most of us know it's about entertainment and a lot of aspects of WWE is not real.

Taker chokeslamming Foley through the cell, still makes me cringe. That fall was just nasty. Still remember watching that live as a kid. Taker also broke his foot in that match too. For those who are saying wrestling is fake, lowers IQ points, ect...seriously get over yourselves. Yes it's scripted but the bumps do hurt. They actually do get injured. And I also watch wrestling. Also was in the top of my class when I graduated and am now a psychology major, studying to become a psychiatrist. I play 2 different instruments (learning a third) and can also play by ear...meaning that I can a hear a song by say...Mariah Carey and come up with the melody and counter melody for the song in my head with absolute ease. I was also taking college classes when I was still in high school. Oh wait but wrestling is only for stupid people. Jeez, come on people. If you like wrestling, cool. If not, that's cool too but you don't have to be such damn snobs about it. I also find it absolutely funny how one can make fun of wrestling for being fake yet was there on opening night to see Batman DarkKnight Rises (which is awesome movie btw) That movie was pure fiction yet it didn't stop everybody from wanting to see it. Walking Dead (awesome show btw)= pure fiction yet once again, it didn't stop some of you from being into the show. Anyways kudos to WWE and Apple. Can't wait for the Network to launch to relive the attitude era. Austin, Rock, and Taker

They seriously need to add an hide icon feature. My screen already has too much crap on it. I'd settle for folders so I could have all the **** in one place.

Is hiding them not good enough?

Enable restrictions. Then select the app you don't need/want and update its restriction from Show to Hide

I know about this clumsy workaround, but for now I just move everything unwanted to the bottom. I hope/wait for a completely revamped, awesome new UI with App Store and possibility to elegantly organise/group/hide my preferred "channels" myself.

why would you want to want to count your arm hairs before watching wrestling?

oh, you mean "than" watch fake wrestling. grammar.

Oh look what we have here very a interesting a person that can spell every word in the dictionary with out making a mistake.

I think you should look at your own grammar and i am 100% sure that you cannot spell all the words in the dictionary.

Because every show on TV is real? Damn, I thought Brooklyn Nine Nine was a documentary! Same with all the Law & Orders that are on! :roll eyes:

The difference is that this is a fake SPORT. The others you listed are DRAMAs, as in fiction literature.

WWW is like watching a fake football game. Or fake golf. :D

Anyway I have to agree with the other comments. At least it is content. Hope they get some GOOD content soon.

Do you like the movie Major League? Bull Durham? Field of Dreams? :)

What the F

Is this the best they can do for Apple TV I would rather have Amazon Prime and Vudu. I have an Apple TV and do like it for some things but my money was better spent when I bought my Roku. Some small changes to Apple TV and it would kill Roku's market share.

You mean, the US standard for a date? On a US based site? Catering to a majority of US users? Posted by a US corporation? Which also caters to a majority of US customers?

HOW DARE THEY!

If slashes had been used, I would have kept quiet. What I'm complaining about is this modern corruption of the dotted format.

No, it's not. It's a soap opera with an athletic theme, as stated above. I haven't watched it in decades, but I'm reasonably sure it would have been more entertaining on Sunday than the real NFL game that was on.

WWE or WFE whatever its called is so fake. The people that think it is real have a very low iq. Its so obvious in so many ways.

I lose brain cells just thinking of the people that think wresting is real.

You do realise no one in the audience thinks its real? They're more interested in the performances, the drama, the story lines, the back stage struggles and politics. Its the same way no one believes Breaking Bad is real, or that the latest blockbuster movie is real, or that if you go to a west end musical its not real.

In what way is show/hide in restrictions not already a perfect acceptable, easy and elegant way to hide icons?? Its not really a "clumsy workaround" is it - its the feature they way its supposed to be implemented.

Given the historical popularity and cultural importance of professional wrestling in places like Mexico and Japan, making a comment that only Americans would think professional wrestling is real (no matter how big of a strawman it may be) is ridiculous, particularly coming from someone with such a name.

I didn't say he wasn't ignorant... I'm just saying I've also never been to Mexico.

----------

Not at all... The distinction is between intellect (intelligence) and knowledge (the opposite of ignorance).

Personally I know plenty of people of standard and above intelligence who remain ignorant (and plenty of well informed people who aren't that bright) but that's beside the point.

I enjoy a sentence that makes me think about the world for a second.

My wife has looked at me like I was insane before because I sometimes bring back phrases and lexicon well older than my generation.

Wow. People on this forum are ignorant. What show isn't fake nowadays? If someone enjoys pro wrestling then so be it. Its not anyone's place to judge. No wonder people say Apple users think they're better than others.

Numbers receive punctuation to let readers identify what the numbers represent:

(212) 555-1212 is used to identify phone numbers,
11/12/13 is used to identify dates,
$14.95 is used to identify money,
Numbers with periods identifies IP addresses.

Using IP address punctuation in an attempt to identify a date confuses people, and is used by pseudo creatives in an attempt to distinguish themselves. Well, it does just that. It makes them look like a distinguished idiot. It's called the dumbing down of America.

Except that (212) 555-1212 isn't relevant anymore because area codes are no longer an option, so phone numbers have to be written 212-555-1212.

Dates should be written with dashes too and in ISO format because "11/12/13" means different dates for different countries. I have no idea if you meant "2013-12-11" or "2013-11-12". Or even "1913-12-11" for that matter.

I never understood why english speaking people put the currency sign before the numbers, it makes no sense when speaking it out loud nor is that format used for other measurements (miles 5000, pounds 25, etc).

I agree with the periods for I.P. addresses because that's the way they need to be written and that's how it works.

it comes down to the fact that people who watch fake "wrestling". are morons who never grew up. Its not a sport , its a bunch of grown men who paint their faces and act like fools. there is no talent , no competition , just a stupid story line. Its a complete waste of time.

I have a good friend who is a professional wrestler , actually one of the most popular. and we laugh at the fans and how stupid they are , how there are a few men in their 30's that follow him around the county going to shows (almost stalking). And he says "these people come up and talk to me like its real, like I care about what happens" , we laugh and he laughs all the way to the bank.

Now why would Apple waste resources by having a dedicated channel for this junk?

Give us loyal customers channels that we actually want to watch. examples amazon video on demand , plus much more.

if you want to cater the morons who watch wrestling , give them an iPad app (one that only works on the latest models - so they have to purchase them , since they will waste all their money on wrestling related crap) , and let them use airplay to watch it on their Apple TV.

LOL at some people on this thread. The attitude on here reminds of the time when Instagram first came to android. The snobbish attitude was both sickening and pathetic. The same applies here. This isn't exactly helping with the "Apple fans are Starbucks drinking, snobbish d-bags who think it's all about them" stereotype. But I digress.

Nobody is forcing anybody on here to watch WWE. Just b/c YOU may not watch it, doesn't mean that the next person isn't in to it. Hell just like you may like a 4in display on your iPhone but that doesn't mean the rest of the world does. Seriously some on here really need to grow up. I like MMA, football, classical music, 2pac, and Arrested Development but that doesn't mean everybody does. And that's ok. The WWE app is there for those who want to watch it. If you don't want to use Vince McMahon's service, then don't. Simple as that. Stop acting like it's all about you and what you want. Ridiculous. Once again, I say kudos to both Apple and WWE for doing this. IMO getting all the PPVs, plus getting to watch a lot of the older stuff for 9.99 is a great deal. Hopefully this catches on and a lot of others start going this route.

your not getting the point .

Apple TV is in its infancy , now is not the time for stupid mindless channels.

Apple needs to focus on bringing better content for those who have brains. If they are going to bring this stupid junk, i hope at the same time they offer a lot more meaningful channels.

I hope this is not a repeat of the red bull channel that I'm pretty sure if they have stats on it they see that nobody watches it.

Apple please give us something to be excited about.
